Here goes my top ten sneakers of all time. Feel free to comment and submit a list of your own. Each of these shoes below I’ve bought countless pairs over the years and to me thats what qualifies as a classic pair of kicks.
Seeing this picture of Jay Z reminded me of the old school designer, Dapper Dan. I remember back in the day, wishing I could go to New York to visit the world famous Dapper Dans. I could just picture myself in one of the fresh, velour Gucci sweat suits. that and a Shirt Kings T-shirt, but we’ll save that for another post. But when Eric B and Rakim came with the leather pieces, sitting on the hood of the Rolls. That was certified ballin’. All this reminiscing had me wondering whatever happened to Dapper Dan and thats when I stumbled across this on youtube. Pretty dope interview with him and his son. Check it. (more…)
